Because - から
To ask why something is, use どうして です か。When answering から must come at the
end of the answer.
- どうして 本 を よみません か。- Why don't (you) read books?
- じかん が ありません から。- Because I don't have time.
から can also connect two sentences together when something happens or is
because of something else. The first part is the reason for the second part.
- じかん が ありません から 本 を よみません。- Because I don't have time, I don't read
books.
